Watering and Mowing Tips
There are three main components to having a great lawn:
Mowing Tips
Always mow high (3.5"-4") to shade soil and crowd out weeds.
Sharpen your mower blade often.
Mulch the clippings if possible.
Never cut off more than one third of the grass blade.
Never mow when temperatures exceed 90 degrees.
Watering Tips
A healthy lawn needs about 1-2 inches of water per week.
Only water when it is necessary. Often, rain is sufficient.
Never water at night during humid weather.
Water deeply (about an hour per zone every three days).
Be diligent and inspect your lawn regularly for dry spots, Leaf Lesions, or turf damage.
